You’ve been in suspense, I know.

Mapping The Cosmos, Walters Art Gallery, Baltimore, MDThere wasn’t much in South Dakota worth blogging about. And I’ve been preoccupied since I got home Friday. Caught up on sleep, went and saw Dan do a great set at Bedrock. Then I met up with C yesterday and saw the exhibit of images from the Hubble space telescope at the Walters Art Gallery - really small exhibit, only one room, but absolutely gorgeous (see illustration).

Tomorrow, however (this time I mean it), you’ll get to hear my thoughts about this. Having nearly lost a limb myself, I feel that you’ll all be required to give extra weight to my opinion. (Let’s politely ignore that getting hit by a car suggests stupidity rather than scientific insight). If I get it together in time, I’ll include gnarly x-ray images from my shattered arm. This also suggests a new tattoo idea: a salamander.

And maybe I’m still a 10 year old boy at heart, but there is no way in hell I’m going to miss this.

And, one last aside. This was just on TV a little while ago and made me laugh, so I had to include it. These commercials make me high.
